Breast Cancer Awareness

I think that the official month for Breast Cancer Awareness is October, but there are lots of scrapbooking and crafting related events this month, including Scrap Pink!

I don't think you will find someone that is not affected by breast cancer. A mother, friend, relative, neighbor, co-worker, fellow church member has be touched by this illness. I know that I have not escaped the realities of this horrible disease. I lost my best friend and roommate to breast cancer, along with many other friends.

Today I lost another friend to breast cancer. Sylvia's courageous struggle against this disease has finally ended. We are going to miss her so much. Please pray for her family, 3 children, one son in law and 2 beautiful grandchildren.
